AI Review Tools and Cancer Mutation Signatures
FranSupek · x · 2026-07-11
Researchers found that Microsatellite Instability (MSI) shouldn't be viewed as a simple on/off state, as defects in different MMR genes produce distinct mutation signatures. These predictive models have been successfully applied to real-world cancer genomic analysis, identifying subtle MMR defects (accounting for about 10% of nominally MSS tumors) that are hard to detect conventionally.
Additionally, the research was highly rated by an AI-driven "validity engine" provided by @qedScience, scoring in the top 1% of quality research.
