NVIDIA Boosts Biomolecular Structure Prediction Efficiency
AllThingsApx · x · 2026-07-11
NVIDIA emphasized via its Health account that biomolecular structure prediction is not a single-model benchmark, but a complete full-stack problem.
The text shares several acceleration results:
- GPU MSA search accelerated by up to 177×
- OpenFold3 inference on Blackwell GPUs accelerated by up to 4×
- Fold-CP can scale to complexes of 32,000 tokens on 64 NVIDIA B300 GPUs
NVIDIA has also integrated these capabilities into the BioNeMo Agent Toolkit, emphasizing that they can be orchestrated into agentic workflows to support engineering pipelines for structure prediction and AI drug design.
