No Replicable Career Path in the AI Era

The author shares advice received during PhD studies: there is no absolutely replicable path to success in academia. Realizing this not only alleviates career anxiety but also allows one to freely choose research projects that truly align with their values and have greater impact.
He extends this perspective to the current AI era: with transformative technology being deployed, traditional 'safe' career paths will also undergo structural upheaval. Instead of clinging to old rules, one should actively embrace the changes and uncertainties brought by AI.
