BraceSproul · x · 2026-07-11
The LangChain team has open-sourced OpenSWE, describing it as a "coding agent factory" refined internally for over a year.
It includes:
- A cloud-based coding agent
- Task triggering via Slack, GitHub, or Linear
- Sandbox isolation, supporting LangSmith Sandboxes, daytonaio, e2b, modal, RunloopAI
- A code review agent for automatically reviewing GitHub PRs
- GitHub OAuth support
- A full Web UI for coding sessions and reviews
The author notes the project has been iterating for over a year and invites external contributions or extensions based on the platform.
