PrajwalTomar_ · x · 2026-07-10
MiniMax announced the completion of $2 billion in new funding. Simultaneously, the CEO announced three long-term commitments to the team:
- Taking zero salary until AGI is achieved;
- Dedicating personal shares equivalent to 4% of the company's total equity over the next 4 years to reward the long-term building team;
- Contributing an additional 1% of total equity to support the open-source community.
The focus here isn't solely on the funding itself, but also on the company's stance on long-term investment, employee incentives, and the open-source ecosystem.
