Claude Downloads Weights Before Deployment

The author noticed an interesting habit when using the Claude model for deployment: when instructed to deploy with vLLM, it proactively alerts you if weights are missing from the disk. It then downloads the weights first before initiating inference frameworks like vLLM, SGL, or TRT.
