OpenAI Shuts Down Atlas Browser

Less than 8 months after its launch, OpenAI has shut down the AI browser Atlas, merging its features into an updated ChatGPT Chrome extension.
Under the new setup, users can invoke ChatGPT directly from the Chrome sidebar, effectively retiring Atlas as a standalone product. The Decoder notes that this is yet another example of OpenAI gradually scaling back or consolidating its early product lines.
