liampetti · reddit · 2026-07-10
The author tested the response speed of a voice assistant running ONNX versions of Qwen3-ASR and Kokoro-TTS on a CPU without a GPU. Tests conducted on a 2022 MacBook M2 and an AMD Ryzen 9 7900 showed that the M2 is already basically usable, while the Ryzen 9 is even faster.
