Google Tests Preferred Sources in AI Search

Google is testing a "Preferred Sources" label in its AI Mode answers, marking a shift toward highly personalized search results based on user choices. Users can add or remove favorite publications in their Google Account settings. Previously used to prioritize specific media in "Top Stories," Google now plans to prominently feature these selected outlets in AI-generated responses.
