AI Governance Scholars Release Positive Vision for 'AI 2040'
FinanceYF5 · x · 2026-07-10
Daniel Kokotajlo and colleagues previously predicted in "AI 2027" that AI might take over the world or cause extreme power concentration. In their latest essay, "AI 2040: Plan A," they propose a more positive vision, hoping to steer the future toward a better path. Co-authored by Kokotajlo, Thomas Larsen, Romeo Dean, Eli Lifland, and Ryan Greenblatt, the piece expresses their hope that the best ideas are adopted and the worst discarded.
