The author released Velorn, a free, open-source video editor available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, which can be directly operated by Claude via a local MCP server. Offering over 100 tools, the editor allows Claude Code to read timelines, view frames, execute editing and transitions, generate assets, import community workflows, mix audio, and export the final video.
