barebrowse: Agents Directly Control Real Browsers

The author released barebrowse: an MCP server and lightweight JS library that lets agents directly use the host's real browser. Instead of bundling Chromium, it drives the user's existing Chrome/Brave/Edge/Chromium via CDP and returns trimmed ARIA page snapshots to reduce payload size and token consumption.
