Boto3 Parsing Intervals Compressed to Three Segments

In Boto3 parsing, internal version intervals could previously grow to a worst-case 1,149 disjoint segments, but optimization has limited this to a maximum of 3. The author explains that this was achieved by merging exclusion intervals during parsing, rather than letting version "holes" accumulate.
