AI Models in Coding Are Too Conservative and Stubborn

Discussing AI coding assistants, developers noted that models often act too timidly and lack ambition, preferring mature existing libraries over reinventing the wheel. This reflects the conservative tendencies of most engineers in their training data.
Furthermore, models can be stubborn: even when users repeatedly point out errors, they might still arrive at the same wrong conclusions. Consequently, users have to spend significant effort "supervising" and continuously guiding the model in specific ways to achieve better results.
