Yuval Noah Harari recently pointed out that "human unique intelligence comes with unique delusions," which is particularly relevant in the era of rising AI. Drawing on cognitive science, the post further analyzed that human delusions and over 200 cognitive biases are often evolutionary adaptations (as stated by Error Management Theory, choosing lower-survival-cost mistakes in asymmetric situations). This is fundamentally different from the "hallucinations" produced by AI.
