No Long-Term Safety Lead in the AI Race

In an interview, the arena CEO stated that the AI race resembles an open market: first movers quickly capture attention, but their lead is short-lived, with the landscape shifting in a matter of months.
He also noted that while OpenAI and Anthropic appear dominant, open-source models, Meta, and new competitors like Grok are constantly reshaping the landscape, meaning no company's competitiveness can be easily dismissed.
