Codex Subagent Configuration Removed

A post points out that in the new version of the Codex app, agents can no longer independently set the model and reasoning effort for subagents. After checking the current build and the spawnagent interface, the author found that neither the UI nor the API provides options to specify these parameters per subagent.
The post explains that subagents will now inherit the global default configuration, such as gpt-5.6-sol and medium effort. To change this, users can only adjust the main model selection or modify configuration files.
