Sierra Launches MCP Gateway to Secure Agents
viksit · x · 2026-07-10
The Sierra team shared their experience building a data analysis agent using Claude Code and Opus. The agent connects to internal systems via MCP and CLI tools, significantly boosting debugging and incident response efficiency.
However, granting agents broad context access introduces massive security and privacy risks. To address this, they launched the MCP Gateway, which ensures internal agents inherit employee permissions, enforce policies on every tool call, isolate customer data, and maintain audit logs.
