MCP Queries Real Cloud Bills Directly
getnable · reddit · 2026-07-10
Nable has launched an MCP server that connects to live billing APIs for AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, and various SaaS and LLMs. This allows users to ask cost-related questions directly within Claude or Cursor, such as "Why did our AWS bill spike last month?"
The project calculates expenses based on real-world rates and emphasizes that data and credentials never leave the local machine. It is currently free, while a paid tier offers budget/policy guardrails for agents and auto-remediation PRs. The repository is open source.
