Cursor Reportedly Building General Office Agent
kimmonismus · x · 2026-07-10
Cursor is reportedly developing a general-purpose AI agent named Sand, aiming to expand from coding to daily office scenarios like handling emails, text messages, spreadsheet organization, and engineering tasks.
The product allegedly entered internal testing in late June, and Cursor began renting compute power from SpaceXAI in April. The report notes that Sand could be Cursor's first product aimed at general business users rather than developers.
