Google Achieves Quantum Error Correction via RL

The Google Quantum AI team published a new study in Nature, demonstrating the unification of calibration and computation on the Willow quantum processor.
The researchers trained a reinforcement learning agent to stabilize logical qubits, laying the groundwork for quantum computers that can continuously learn from and correct their own errors.
