GPT-5.6 API Launches With Three Variants

OpenAI announced that GPT-5.6 is rolling out to the API with three sub-models: Sol is the flagship tailored for coding, knowledge work, cybersecurity, and science; Terra delivers near-GPT-5.5 performance at a lower cost; and Luna is the fastest and cheapest version optimized for high-throughput tasks.
