MIT Unveils Wearable AI for Real-Time Motion Assistance

An MIT prototype highlighted in the post showcases a wearable AI system: a camera captures what the user sees, the AI determines the required body movements in real time, and micro-electrical pulses stimulate the muscles to provide physical assistance. Demonstrations show it helping users play the piano, make gestures, wave, and draw. Although still in early experimental stages, it is considered highly promising for rehabilitation, physical therapy, and sports recovery.
