Research on Improving Pre-trained GCRL Policies

The authors clarified that their research aims to improve existing pre-trained GCRL policies, not to prove that their overall navigation capabilities outperform other methods.
They noted that this work shares the same spirit as SPTM—combining planning with learned policies—and extends this concept to already pre-trained GCRL policies.
