The author believes the core difficulty in commercializing AI agents is identifying the true payer. Although products are typically built around user experience, the actual payer might be the end user, merchant, platform, or advertiser. An agent's economic value often comes from matching supply and demand, meaning monetization is less about UX and more about market mechanism design. When an agent facilitates a transaction, how to reasonably distribute the fees remains an urgent business model challenge.
