Multi-Agent Framework for Clinical Trial Design

This paper introduces EmulatRx: an end-to-end clinical trial design system using 5 specialized LLM Agents (Supervisor, Trialist, Informatician, Clinician, Statistician). Built on a LangGraph state machine, all node transitions are inspectable and reproducible. The system integrates a Neo4j trial knowledge graph, PubMed RAG, and statistical analysis tools, and is aligned to expert preferences using RLHF, PPO, and DPO.
