OpenAI participated in the AtCoder World Tour Finals livestream and later revealed that during pre-contest testing with past problems, their system typically solved most within an hour. However, problems D and E in this contest were notably harder. They also noted the system uses a model and a lightweight harness to extend test time compute, with the model itself being similar to 5.6.
