Google highlighted its collaboration with UN DISHA and UNOSAT: using the Earth AI building damage assessment model, organizations can analyze infrastructure damage from satellite imagery within hours—a task that previously took experts weeks. Following Hurricane Melissa, AI reportedly helped assess over 385,000 buildings to speed up disaster recovery.
