NY Governor Uses AI to Review 18M Words of State Regulations

New York Governor Kathy Hochul is using AI to sift through 18 million words of state regulations, flagging outdated requirements like mandatory fax and telegram notifications.
The tool was developed by the RegLab at Stanford Law School and is headed by Daniel Ho, deputy director of Stanford HAI.
