Alipay Upgrades "Tap" into an Agent Network

Alipay announced an AI upgrade for its "Tap" feature, transforming devices into Agents. It launched "Xiaoyu," the first merchant-focused device Agent, alongside eight operational Skills. By tapping a device with a phone, users can instantly access various AI services like ordering food, charging, and AI payments.
Simultaneously, Alipay introduced the "Tap Anything Agent" platform for small and medium-sized businesses, enabling the design and ordering of custom AI materials in minutes. They also released an AI Payment Agent marketing toolkit, fully accessible to merchants. The "Tap" feature currently boasts 400 million users and an ecosystem of over 2,300 service providers.
