Claude Code Renewal Doesn't Reset Quota

The author shares their Claude Code subscription experience: after the original subscription expired and was canceled, re-subscribing later did not reset the used quota to the start of the new cycle, but rather carried over the previous usage state.
They warn that if you encounter a similar situation, you might need to open a completely new account to get a fresh quota cycle.
