Rumor: OpenAI to Release GPT-5.6
oran_ge · x · 2026-07-08
According to overseas beta feedback, OpenAI is expected to release the GPT-5.6 model tomorrow. The model is reportedly a comprehensive upgrade from GPT-5.5, with pricing remaining unchanged.
However, most beta testers believe that GPT-5.6 does not deliver the qualitative leap seen in the Fable model, and its overall intelligence level still slightly trails the twice-as-expensive Fable model.
