Open Source Tool CodeAlmanac: Self-Updating Wiki for Codebases

ElectronicUnit6303 · reddit · 2026-07-08

A developer released CodeAlmanac, an open-source, self-updating codebase wiki tool. After installing the CLI and selecting an agent, it scans the codebase to generate an initial Wiki and automatically updates it every 5 hours based on your conversations with Claude/Codex. The Wiki is stored entirely locally in Markdown and structured in SQLite, supporting topic-based queries (e.g., codealmanac search --topic auth) to help agents easily retrieve project context沉淀 in past conversations.
