Meta Introduces Content Seal Provenance Watermarks

Meta officially announced that Content Seal is now built into the Meta AI app. Every AI-generated image carries a hidden provenance signal resistant to cropping, compression, resizing, and screenshots. They are also previewing a public detection tool allowing anyone to verify if an image was generated by Meta AI. This mechanism targets the provenance and transparency of AI-generated content.
