FLI Releases Summer 2026 AI Safety Index Rating 9 Top Firms

The Future of Life Institute (FLI) has released the Summer 2026 AI Safety Index. An independent panel of experts evaluated the safety practices of 9 leading AI companies, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. This report is part of FLI's periodic safety governance assessments aimed at measuring these companies' safety performance and commitment fulfillment. Max Tegmark shared the report.
