Open-Source Local AI Workstation AIWF Studio Seeks Testers
nawni3 · reddit · 2026-07-07
AIWF Studio is a local Windows/NVIDIA AI workflow app under the MIT license. It currently focuses on diffusion model and transformer-based image/video generation workflows, featuring a production-grade UI built with FastAPI + React, while retaining Gradio for pipeline testing. The author explicitly states no intention to replace ComfyUI, A1111, or Forge. It has a different positioning: sacrificing some node graph flexibility for a more direct App-like experience, while providing local model scanning, logging, settings, and maintainable routing configurations. The long-term goal is to build a comprehensive local creative AI workstation integrating image, video, audio/post-production, training/retraining, and agent chat assistance. They are now seeking testers willing to tinker with early open-source tools and provide feedback on rough edges like installation failures, path assumptions, and model scanning issues.
