Nvidia Kyber NVL144 Rack Delayed Over 12 Months
vikramskr · x · 2026-07-07
According to a SemiAnalysis article published on July 6, the midplane design of Nvidia's Kyber NVL72x2 rack is critical. The NVL144 rack has been delayed by over 12 months—pushed from 2027 to 2028—due to manufacturing difficulties with the PCB midplane. The article suggests that all technological paths will eventually converge on the CPO (co-packaged optics) solution.
