Decypher: Deep Semantic Code Graphs for AI Agents

_h4xr · reddit · 2026-07-07

A software engineer has released Decypher (Beta), a deep semantic code graph tool designed for agent-based programming. Built from the ground up using language-specific compilers, it enables agents to not only understand code structure but also track data flows, conditional branches, and return statements. This shifts the burden of debugging and security checks from developers to agents while reducing token consumption. It currently supports Java and JVM languages (Scala, Kotlin), operates fully offline, collects no telemetry, and offers over 40 tools.
