Hugging Face Xet Replaces Git as Default Storage

Hugging Face co-founder Clément Delangue shared data showing that AI developers are storing massive amounts of data on HF's Xet. Around November 2025, Xet fully replaced the previous git-based storage method, becoming the platform's default data storage solution.
