Nobel Laureate Yaghi Leaves US for Tsinghua to Focus on AI Material Design

According to pstAsiatech, Nobel Laureate and materials scientist Omar Yaghi has left the US to join Tsinghua University in China. The 61-year-old scientist will lead a team researching how to revolutionize the design and synthesis of new materials using AI.
Tsinghua stated that this work is expected to shorten the R&D cycle for new materials by "several orders of magnitude."
