In an Atlantic article, DrAtoosa discusses joining Google DeepMind to study "what it means to live when cognitive agency is no longer uniquely human." She disputes two points in the report: first, the claim that "someone is finally willing to hire philosophers" is inaccurate, as philosophers have always been highly sought after; second, the notion that "Silicon Valley leads AI ethics" ignores the many excellent philosophers at Google and the DeepMind London team.
