antirez: Precise Prompts May Beat Agent Auto-Loops

antirez · x · 2026-07-06

Redis creator antirez shared that before losing access to Fable, he realized that even after several days of intense work, he had only used 14% of his weekly quota. He isn't fundamentally opposed to loops, but he doesn't believe that unconditional, massive autonomous token consumption is the correct path today.
