The image generation model Juggernaut-Z has conflicting licenses: cc-by-nc-4.0 (non-commercial) on HuggingFace, but Apache 2.0 on CivitAI. Creator KandooAI confirmed the Apache license on CivitAI.
However, RunDiffusion stated that commercial use requires a paid monthly subscription even for fully local deployments, claiming the Apache license on CivitAI was an "oversight" that remains uncorrected. The poster questioned the relationship between RunDiffusion and KandooAI, as well as the true creator, expressing disappointment over rebranding an Apache 2.0 base model with ambiguous fine-tuning terms.
