According to SCMP, with Beijing's new regulations on "humanoid AI interaction services" taking effect on July 15, ByteDance (Doubao) and Alibaba (Tongyi Qwen) are moving to disable related customization features in their AI agents to comply with rules requiring clear labeling and restrictions on "whether it is human."

This move reflects China's tightening regulation on anthropomorphic AI interactions, directly impacting the feature sets of two major domestic AI products.
