Using Codex to Automatically Cancel Travel Bookings and Get Refunds
reach_vb · x · 2026-07-06
The author combined a Chrome extension with Codex to manage itinerary changes. Codex systematically reviewed bookings on Navan, provided reasons, and successfully processed cancellations. For a few bookings that hit technical roadblocks, it automatically escalated the issue to Navan customer service, successfully securing cancellations and refunds. This compressed a manual task that typically takes 30-45 minutes significantly.
