ChatGPT Voice Mode Reportedly Auto-Reverts to Instant
DaiNoShoujoNoYami · reddit · 2026-07-06
A truck driver user reported an issue with ChatGPT's voice mode after a recent update: even when "high" mode is pre-selected, it automatically reverts to "instant" mode during use, resulting in answers that clearly lack reasoning and fact-checking. Because the user is driving and cannot operate the phone manually, this issue severely disrupts their need for accurate responses.
