Engineers Face Sustained Cognitive Strain as AI Takes Over Simple Coding

A software engineer points out that the "simple" coding tasks previously delegated to AI agents (boilerplate, CRUD, common patterns) actually served as "System 1" breaks, allowing engineers to recover from complex problem-solving.
