YC President Garry Tan believes that founders around 40 with strong taste and judgment are becoming the new 'unicorn founders'. Because AI agents and software factories allow them to access 100x or even 1000x productivity, massively amplifying personal leverage, the number of such founders could increase a hundredfold or thousandfold.
