CodeByPoonam · x · 2026-07-06
Anthropic has launched the Claude Science workbench tailored for scientific research, featuring 60+ built-in research skills (genomics, protein analysis, clinical databases, drug discovery, etc.). It natively renders 3D protein structures, runs on HPC clusters, generates publishable manuscripts, and ensures every result is traceable to its generating code. Pilots by UCSF and the Allen Institute report compressing two years of research into three months; Dr. Susan Wang at UCSF accelerated brain tumor analysis by 10x.
