OpenAI Criticized for Not Integrating GPT-5.5 Pro into Codex
haider1 · x · 2026-07-05
@haider1 believes OpenAI missed a huge opportunity by not integrating GPT-5.5 Pro into Codex.
He points out that given Codex's higher usage limits and OpenAI's frequent quota resets, there is almost no reason to buy the Claude Max 20x plan right now. He hopes OpenAI will soon add the "Pro or Sol Ultra" version of GPT-5.6 to Codex.
